"Scandi Gnomes", "Christmas Gnomes", "Gonks", "Nordic Gnomes"
They have many names, but are all based on Traditional Scandinavian Gnomes.
These cute and amusing gnomes are becoming more and more popular, with many of the large department stores, chain stores and cut-price stores, adding them to their Christmas Collections.
Scandi Gnomes first appeared on our family Christmas tree several years ago, when some close friends gifted me a pair. I was immediately in love with these characters, with their hats down over their eyes, big pink noses, and furry beards; not to mention their charming Scandinavian knits and outfits.
I have designed 7 of my own digital Scandi Gnome characters, each with their own style. and they are now featured on Mugs, T-shirts, Tote Bags, Greetings cards and more in my Store.
